The sixth edition of the Innovation Meet was held on June 29, 2017 at the Casa de América in Madrid. At the event, new initiatives to promote innovation and entrepreneurship were discussed, and experiences of business cooperation between LATAM and Europe were shared.
The Opening of Honor was held by the Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism of the Government of Chile, Luis Felipe Céspedes, as well as the directors of the companies organizing the event, Antoni Paz, Executive Director of KIM and Francisco Velasco, Executive Director of MRI.
The event also had a significant panel of speakers, composed of a large representation of large Spanish corporations (BBVA, Telefónica, Repsol, Indra, Gas Natural Fenosa, ADIF, Ferrovial Agroman, Grupo Norte), prestigious legal services and IP firms (Elzaburu, Clarke, Modet & Co), technological centers (Leitat, Tecnalia) and diplomatic corps of Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia.

About the Innovation Meets
The Innovation Meet is a cycle of annual or biannual meetings, established as a reference forum in Spain to discuss good practices in the management of innovation, improvement of public-private processes to foster innovative culture, and improvement of return of investment in R&D&I. They are organized by Knowledge Innovation Market (KIM), Madrid Research Institute (MRI) and Knowledge Investors (KI).
